Is it a formal event or are you going for a more casual gathering? For more casual gatherings it’s recommended the drop of the tablecloth is 6 – 15 inches and for more formal events the drop of the tablecloth should be 15+ inches or to the floor.

Who would have thought that table linens aren’t always made out of linen!? They can be Linen or Cotton, Poly Cotton, Polyester, Vinyl or even paper. And this is by no means an exhaustive list! Consider your venue and ultimately your theme. We are absolute fans of our cotton like feel table linen, their crisp clean lines add a measure of class and sophistication especially in white, Ivory or neutral colours. If you have a theme or a specific colour scheme why not try adding a coloured table runner to match your scheme and of course, don’t forget the napkins! A casual event on the other hand, especially one outdoors, means a vinyl or paper cloth would not be out of place and you can have fun with patterns and colour schemes. Don’t be afraid to be bold with your choices, you want your event to be one that people remember for a long time to come!
